Street-level crime for England, Wales and Northern Ireland

Street-level crime information, broken down by police forces in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and 2021 Lower layer Super Output Area (LSOA).

The approximate latitude and longitude locations of crime and anti-social behaviour (ASB) incidents. Each map point has a catchment area with at least eight postal addresses or no postal addresses, so that it appears over the centre point of a street, above a public place such as a park or airport, or commercial property.

The exact location of each crime is compared against a master list to find the nearest map point. The coordinates of the actual crime are then replaced with the coordinates of the map point. If the nearest map point is more than 20 kilometres away, the coordinates are zeroed out.

All data hosted on the Integrated Data Service (IDS) are de-identified.
