Fantastic presentation. All the speakers really conveyed the excitement for the service.

The Integrated Data Service (IDS) took to the road, showcasing a demo of the platform at Civil Service Live 2024 (opens in a new tab)
This attracted attendees from around 600 government departments, agencies, and public bodies. As a result, it is an important opportunity to show the potential of IDS for those working in the Civil Service.
During the live demonstrations at our interactive hub, the team undertook live data analysis remotely, showing how policy questions can be answered in real time through interactive sessions with the audience. Alongside learning how to navigate the IDS platform, delegates also gained an insight into the service through guest talks and one-on-one conversations with the team.
The IDS Hub and stand received a lot of interest at all the different events and positive feedback from delegates:
“IDS is exactly what we need.”
“Very, very interesting - especially the secure cross department sharing of data”
“A fantastic initiative and an excellent service.”
“Fantastic presentation - all the speakers really conveyed the excitement for the service – great job and very informative.”
Civil Service Live was an opportunity to showcase the potential of cross-governmental collaboration through the IDS. The IDS provides the tools to break down barriers, bringing data together and driving efficiencies to improve public services. It is built for government analysts, devolved administrations and accredited researchers.
These events were an opportunity for the team to showcase their enthusiasm for the service and answer any questions or concerns delegates brought to them directly. This feedback will also be used to inform future communications on the IDS.
