Collaboration is important to the success of the Integrated Data Service (IDS). We are working in partnership with other organisations to help shape the service IDS provides, ensuring we meet the current and emerging needs and requirements of our users.

Our partners

Administrative Data Research UK (ADR UK)

Administrative Data Research UK (ADR UK) is supporting the development of the Integrated Data Service (IDS). ADR UK is transforming the way researchers access the UK's wealth of public sector data, to enable better informed policy decisions that improve people's lives.
 

ADR UK consists of four national partnerships:

  • ADR England
  • ADR Northern Ireland
  • ADR Scotland
  • ADR Wales

Working with the Office for National Statistics (ONS), ADR UK ensures that data provided by UK government bodies are accessed for research purposes, with minimal risk to data holders or the public.

Facilitating safe and secure access for accredited researchers to newly joined-up and de-identified datasets creates a sustainable body of knowledge about how our society and economy function. This will provide decision makers with the answers they need to solve important policy questions.

ADR UK funds and facilitates access to administrative data for academic use through the existing Secure Research Service (SRS) led by ONS. Our established partnership with ADR UK will continue throughout the development of the new service.
