Available data

The Integrated Data Service (IDS) provides accredited researchers access to a range of secure, de-identified data. De-identified data prevents someone’s personal identity from being revealed.

The IDS is continuously expanding its diverse data catalogue. This is a comprehensive list containing many of the data currently available on the platform.

You must be an accredited researcher to access the full IDS data catalogue.

  • Consumer and Retail Price Index, UK

    • From: Office for National Statistics (ONS)
    Quote prices and associated metadata and weights underpinning the monthly production of the Consumer and Retail Price Index (CRPI).

  • Council tax property attributes data indexed, England and Wales

    • From: Valuation Office Agency (VOA)
    The Valuation Office Agency data provide property characteristics information for domestic properties in England and Wales.

  • Crime Survey for England and Wales

    • From: Office for National Statistics (ONS)
    A survey asking people their experiences of a range of offences. Respondents are asked their attitudes towards different crime-related issues.

  • Death registrations indexed, England and Wales

    • From: Office for National Statistics (ONS)
    Annual final death registration data, collected as part of civil registration, providing information on deaths that are registered in England and Wales.

  • Deaths by vaccination status, England

    • From: Office for National Statistics (ONS)
    Contains person-level and COVID-19 vaccination data for individuals in England who have died between 8 December 2020 and 27 February 2023.

  • Differentially private synthetic linked 2011 Census and mortality

    • From: Office for National Statistics (ONS)
    Synthetic Census 2011 linked with death data, both created through statistical modelling to make it non-sensitive.

  • E-commerce Business Survey

    • From: Office for National Statistics (ONS)
    Survey microdata from the E-commerce Business Survey which collects data on e-commerce sales and the adoption of information and communication technology.

  • Effects of taxes and benefits, UK

    • From: Office for National Statistics (ONS)
    The redistribution effects on individuals and households of direct and indirect taxation and benefits received in cash or kind, analysed by household type.

  • Energy performance certificate data indexed, England and Wales

    • From: Office for National Statistics (ONS) and Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC)
    Integrated Data Asset for energy performance certificates issued for domestic buildings constructed, sold or let since 2008.

  • Environmental Protection Expenditure Survey, UK

    • From: Office for National Statistics (ONS)
    Contains the microdata used to produce the published Environmental Protection Expenditure Survey 2021 estimates.
